Debuted Idol Shockingly Gets 0 Stars And Is Already Eliminated From “Boys II Planet”
Boys II Planet has officially started.
As soon as the contestants were revealed, there were many familiar faces, including already debuted idols.
During the first round, contestants give themselves a rating, and then their performance is judged to give a new rating. It goes from 0 stars to all star, which is the highest. Unlike previous years, those with zero stars are immediately eliminated.
While it could be expected from trainees, netizens were shocked that it happened to an already debuted idol, Thanatorn.
The idol debuted in 2023 as part of K-Pop boy group THE WIND.
The idol sang “VIBE” by BIGBANG‘s Taeyang, featuring BTS‘s Jimin.
Shockingly, the idol received zero stars from the judges and was eliminated.
Netizens hit back at Mnet, saying that while it wasn’t perfect, Thanatorn’s performance was nowhere near zero stars, especially compared to others. They also hit back Mnet’s evil editing and shared examples of the idol’s true talent from THE WIND content.
