Actor Lee Sung Woo is facing backlash after posting explicit fan art of his Squid Game character on Instagram. The shocking fan art was deemed “straight up p*rn” by some.

Earlier today, Lee shared an NSFW drawing of Player 226 — the character he plays in Squid Game seasons 2 and 3 — via his Instagram Story. The image showed graphic sexual content that fans quickly labeled as “p*rn.” Within hours, he deleted the post without explanation.

The reaction was immediate. Some fans laughed it off, while others were stunned. But a growing number of viewers say the post crossed a line. Several have pointed out that while fan art appreciation from the stars is nice, this one felt more like adult content that shouldn’t be shared on such platforms.

This isn’t the first time a Squid Game actor has been caught up in controversy over inappropriate content. Earlier this year, Park Sung Hoon made headlines for sharing the cover of a porn parody of Squid Game.

The post — also shared via Instagram Story — featured sexual violence and was widely condemned. Park later said he uploaded it by mistake, but many didn’t buy the excuse.

He apologized publicly, stepped down from a K-Drama role, and stayed off social media for weeks.

Lee Sung Woo hasn’t addressed the situation yet, but fans are already drawing comparisons. Some say it’s another example of actors not taking their platform seriously. While the post is now eelting and no longer on his page, screenshots of the NSFW fan art are already circulating online as multiple posts go viral.
