ALLDAY PROJECT’s “Live Singing” Put To Question By K-Netizens

“Have they ever really shown anything that could be called singing..?”

A recent post about ALLDAY PROJECT has blown up on Pann, gaining over 85,000 views and sparking heated debate.

The viral post centers around the member’s live singing skills, with many many Korean netizens questioning whether the group really has strong vocalists.

The original poster claimed that some members sound awkward when performing in Korean, pointing out that Tarzzan’s delivery comes across more like reading than singing.

Youngseo’s vocal tone was praised, but some felt he lacked the strength expected of a main vocal. Bailey was described as simply fluent in English rather than being an impressive rapper, while Annie’s abilities were labeled as still “uncertain.”

Out of the lineup, only Woochan was widely acknowledged as standing out for his talent.

Am I the only one who thinks ALLDAY PROJECT members aren’t actually good at singing..?

I feel like I might get hate for saying this, but Tarzzan especially sounds like he’s just reading from a Korean textbook when he sings in Korean. Youngseo has a nice tone, but she feels too weak to be considered the group’s “main vocal.” Bailey’s just good at English. I don’t really know if she’s actually good at rapping. Annie, I’m still not sure about either. Jo Woochan is on another level though.

Fans and netizens chimed in with their own opinions. Some argued that the group has never truly shown solid singing skills beyond rap. Others admitted the members can stay on pitch but questioned whether that alone makes them good vocalists.

  • “Have they ever really shown anything that could be called singing…? Aside from rap, it seems like they’re just at the level where anyone who isn’t tone-deaf could sing along.”
  • “They pick good songs that conceal their true skills, LOL. But at least they actually perform live… I think that’s more meaningful than lip-syncing while claiming to be good at singingㅋㅋ”
  • “Other than Jo Woochan, I don’t really know.”
  • “I think the same. Woochan is obviously good, but the other members just do enough to get by.”
  • “They’re still better than your ILLIT though.”
