Actress and Rumored Boyfriend Fight With Police After Drunk-Driving Incident In Viral Video

The 33-year-old Thai-German actress Marie Broenner recently had a run-in with the law that has gone viral.

On August 24, Broenner and her alleged boyfriend, businessman Asakon “Boss” Singsikornkun, were caught on a viral video arguing heatedly with police officers at a checkpoint on Pradit Manutham Road. The pair was stopped while driving a green Porsche after attending a party where they allegedly consumed alcohol.

Boss’s daughter was also present, sitting in the backseat of the car.

Broenner was instructed to take a breathalyzer test, and Boss instructed her not to before allegedly attempting to flaunt his connections to police. Ultimately, police decided that Broenner was drunk, and she was charged with drunk driving, while Boss was charged with insulting and obstructing police officers on duty.

After appearing in court the following day, Broenner confessed, was fined 4,000 Thai Baht (around 123 USD), and sentenced to two months in prison, suspended for two years. She will also have to meet with police officials three times in the next year, do 12 hours of community service, and have her license suspended for six months.

Boss was sentenced to one month in prison, suspended for one year, and fined 10,000 Thai Baht (around 308 USD).

Broenner most recently appeared in the series Revenge, while Boss is known for his previous marriage to Cherreen Nachjaree Horvejkul, the younger sister of 2PM‘s Nichkhun. The latter had a child together before divorcing after Horvejkul made claims of abuse.
