Popular Idol-Turned-Actor’s Updated Enlistment Date Revealed

Idol-turned-actor Rowoon is now officially ready to enlist in the military service.

On August 26, FNC Entertainment announced his official enlistment date.

“We want to inform you of Rowoon’s military enlistment schedule. Rowoon, initially scheduled to enlist on July 21, received a re-examination in early August and will enlist as an active-duty soldier on October 27.

As previously announced, no official events will be held to minimize crowding on his enlistment day. Considering the private nature of the event, fans are prohibited from visiting. We are grateful for the love shown to Rowoon, and we ask for your continued support until he safely completes his military service and returns in good health. Thank you.”

Previously, Rowoon, who was initially supposed to enlist on July 21, postponed after he received a grade 7 evaluation during his physical examination.

Rowoon Won’t Be Able To Enlist In The Military As Per His Original Plans

Grade 7 means severe health conditions and requires a full reexamination to determine eligibility to enlist.

Meanwhile, Rowoon debuted in 2016 as a member of the group SF9. He left the group in 2023 to pursue acting and has starred in various dramas, gaining recognition for his acting skills.

The upcoming Disney+ drama series, The Murky Stream, set to premiere on September 26, will be his final project before enlistment.
