A popular idol has shocked with her recent appearance after announcing her retirement.

In 2020, Chinese survival show Youth With You 2 aired showing the formation of girl group 1THE9.

Among the trainees, several that did not make the final group still stood out, including Jin Zihan.

Jin Zihan ultimately would make her debut as a member of NAME, where she remained until April 2025, when she suddenly announced her retirement.

Recently, Jin Zihan shared an update showing off a visual transformation.

During her active time, Jin Zihan was known for her gorgeous looks, which usually included long luscious hair.

In updates shared on her Weibo, the retired star revealed that she had shaved her head, and was trying out wigs.

Naturally, she trended on the platform, where some expressed concern for her change in the visuals, though she reassured her hair would grow back quickly.

Hopefully, Jin Zihan is just getting to try things out now that she is no longer an idol!
