3rd Gen Idol Shares “Miracle” Pregnancy Announcement After Heartbreaking Health Struggles
Crayon Pop‘s ChoA is pregnant!

In a post on Instagram, ChoA (also known by her real name Huh Minjin) shared that she is currently expecting after a round of IVF. Also surprising about the announcement is the fact that she is having identical twins, which she said had a “1% chance” of occurring.

Everyone, a precious life we longed for has finally come to us✨
Two years ago, I was diagnosed with cancer, and several university hospitals told me that I would not be able to have children. But I never gave up. I met a hospital and professor who helped preserve my fertility, successfully underwent cancer surgery, and was able to recover. After several attempts at natural conception, we tried IVF, and like a miracle, our baby came to us on the very first try!
I wanted to share this joyful news as soon as possible, but since it was still very early, I held back carefully. (And with happy morning sickness and throwing up, it became harder to hide 🥹) Today, I’m 10 weeks and 2 days pregnant, and I’d like to introduce our precious identical twin babies, Heart and Cute! Since I don’t have a cervix, I’m at risk of preterm birth, so I intentionally had only one embryo transferred. But it naturally split into identical twins. They say it’s a 1% chance…
At first I was worried, but now all I can think about is doing my best to carry them well and give birth to them healthy! I’ve shared more details of my journey on my YouTube channel Choa Life. I hope it can help even a little bit for those who have gone through similar experiences.
I’ll continue recording this journey through videos and show you a hopeful story to the very end, so please watch over me! Sending strength to all couples struggling with infertility!!💪
And to everyone who has sent me sincere comfort and support, even dreamed auspicious dreams for me, and shared kind words—online aunties and uncles, family and friends—thank you so, so much!!!
See you in March next year ♥️♥️

As mentioned in the caption, ChoA previously announced that she had uterine cancer and underwent treatment. This announcement comes a little less than four years after her marriage to a non-celeb.

Congratulations to the couple! You can watch her full vlog below.
