Fan Arrested After “Terrified” Female Idol Makes A Disturbing Discovery
A fan has been arrested, following an unsettling incident that took place in a female idol’s dressing room.
Aoi Marin is a former member of MELODY MELLOW, a Japanese idol girl group that debuted on January 17, 2025. Though she parted ways with the group in July, Marin has continued to engage with fans online, but also in person by having private photoshoots with her fans. Here manager supervises these shoots to ensure Marin’s safety, but even with this precaution in place, the idol found herself at risk.
In an X (formerly Twitter) post, Marin revealed that she uncovered five hidden cameras in a dressing room while she was getting ready to change into a swimsuit for a photoshoot at the end of August.
The hidden cameras had been disguised as coat hooks and USB outlets, making them difficult to notice.
The fan whom Marin had been planning to have a photoshoot with that day was arrested by police at the scene. The incident left Marin feeling “terrified” and wondering about what would have happened if she hadn’t spotted the cameras.

Warning: This happened during a private photoshoot with a fan whom I trusted, under the condition that my manager was present. Five hidden cameras had been set up in the changing room. Even now, I feel terrified when I think about what would have happened if I hadn’t noticed them. To all performers, especially those doing photoshoots, please be careful.
