Popular Actor Abruptly Quits K-Drama Filming After Shocking DUI Incident
Actor Yoon Ji On is suddenly leaving the set of his upcoming K-Drama after being caught driving drunk. His decision to withdraw has left the production team scrambling, as filming was already well underway.

According to reports, Yoon Ji On has stepped down from Channel A’s new series Positively Yours, which is set to premiere next year. The series began filming in July and had already reached its sixth script.
The actor had been actively filming until last week and was scheduled to continue this week, but his drunk driving incident seemingly made his exit unavoidable. His agency, IEUM HASHTAG, has also unfollowed him on Instagram.

Industry insiders revealed that staff members were blindsided by the news. Since production was planned to wrap by December, and more than half of the K-Drama had already been completed, his sudden departure has created major complications for the team.
Positively Yours is based on a popular Naver webtoon of the same name. The story follows two people who never planned on getting married but end up facing unexpected consequences after a one-night stand. The K-Drama is scheduled to air in the first half of next year, which is now up in the air following Yoon’s exit.
