Recently, an actress who has been open about her sexuality has been rising in popularity, including a recent appearance at fashion week.
Faye Peraya Malisorn entered the entertainment industry in 2016, winning the title of Miss Grand Thailand. She later flew to Las Vegas to participate in Miss Grand International, where she placed first runner-up against competitors from other countries.
She pivoted the following year when she signed a contract with Channel 7 and made her acting debut. While there, she appeared in multiple series, including Masaya and The Tale of Skyward Sword.
In 2024, she and Yoko Apasra were announced to lead 9Star Studios‘ new series, Blank. Blank is a GL series about the relationship between two women with a 16-year age gap, and has been a breakout role for Faye.
Faye stands out in the GL industry as one of a few openly queer women. In a 2023 interview, she shared her experiences, mentioning that she had hooked up with women and that her first relationship was with a woman in college who was now married with children.
Her popularity has continued since her appearance in Blank, and she recently attended the Max Mara show at Milan Fashion Week.
