TWICE’s Jeongyeon Skips Concert Due To Health Reasons, Addresses Concerns In Emotion-Stirring Message
It was announced that TWICE‘s Jeongyeon would be sitting out of the group’s upcoming concert in the Philippines.
TWICE are currently on part one of their This Is For world tour, and are scheduled to perform in Bulacan on October 4.
The announcement made on October 2, stated that Jeongyeon would sit out of the concert due to health reasons, with JYP Entertainment offering an apology and promise to continue prioritize the idol’s “health and recovery.”

It is with deep regret that we inform you that TWICE member JEONGYEON will be unable to participate in the TWICE <THIS IS FOR> WORLD TOUR IN BULACAN concert due to health reasons.
We sincerely apologize to all the fans who have been waiting for this concert and are truly sorry to deliver such disappointing news. After much careful consideration, this decision was made inevitably with the artist’s health and recovery as our utmost priority. We kindly ask for your understanding.
We are always grateful for the tremendous love and support you give to TWICE, and once again, we deeply apologize for the sadness and disappointment this may cause.

Previously, Jeongyeon took a hiatus from group activities in 2021 due to anxiety and a herniated disc, with fans sometimes noticing the injury still causes pain for the idol. Naturally, fans were left feeling saddened by the news and concerned for Jeongyeon’s health.
The idol took to a fan chatting platform to reassure fans herself, saying that she was okay and that she was sorry for missing out.
Many fans were grateful from the update from the idol herself, and assured she did not have to apologize.
