Japanese idol Murakami Shingo recently announced he would be getting married.

His agency, Starto Entertainment (formerly Johnny’s & Associates), shared the news while Murakami shared a letter relaying the news.

Back in July, Murakami was spotted with a woman believed to be his girlfriend. The outlet that reported the sighting alleged that the woman was in her 20s, making her around 20 years younger than 43-year-old Murakami.

Murakami debuted as a member of SUPER EIGHT in 2004, a popular group in Japan.
