Aspiring Model Dead After Live Organ Harvesting — Connection To Kidnappings Across Asia
A 26-year-old woman from Belarus was allegedly killed in Myanmar after being trafficked to the country.
According to reports, the young woman, Vera Kravchova, took a modeling job in Thailand, but was abducted after arriving in Bangkok.

Like other scam reports, she had her passport and cell phone taken and was forced to work under harsh conditions in a cyber scam camp, where individuals are coerced into performing fraudulent online operations. Kravchova allegedly was forced into romance scams, which usually trick the victim into sending funds under the guise of a relationship.
When she failed to meet the financial targets set by the group due to a refusal to work, she was allegedly no longer allowed to contact her family.

Her relatives later received a demand for US$500,000 for the return of her body, and were allegedly told she had been sold to an organ harvesting ring and her organs harvested.

The Belarusian Foreign Ministry is actively involved in tracing her whereabouts, according to The Standard, and is assisting the family through diplomatic channels. The ministry also claims that officials have confirmed Kravtsova flew from Bangkok to Yangon on September 20.
