BTS’s Jin is facing a heated wave of criticism after an old live performance clip started spreading rapidly across social media. The short clip has sparked overwhelmingly negative reactions from international netizens on X, who are now questioning his position in BTS’s vocal line.

The viral clip comes from Jin’s appearance on the popular YouTube show Lee Mujin’s Service where guests are invited to sing live. During his appearance, Jin performed several songs entirely live, including “Life Goes On,” “I’ll Be There,” “Falling,” and “Running Wild.”

While the episode initially received positive attention for showcasing his distinct tone and delivery, the resurfaced video of “Running Wild” has sparked a very different reaction.

Some netizens have accused Jin of lacking vocal strength and control, even going as far as calling his tone “annoying.”

In other scathing reactions netizens have even suggested the BTS singer should “retire.”

Furthermore, even though Lee Mujin’s Service is known to only have stars singing live in the show, netizens have even accused Jin of using autotune in the clip.
