9-Year-Old Girl Group Announces Their Disbandment
After nearly a decade together, a girl group’s time is coming to an end.

At Seventeen (also stylized as @17 and @Seventeen) is a Japanese idol group with a maid concept. They debuted in August 2016, paused their activities after TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2016, and resumed their activities in August the following year. Since then, they have been entertaining fans with their performances, usually while dressed in colourful stage outfits inspired by maid uniforms.

On October 26, At Seventeen announced their disbandment on social media. At Seventeen’s management and members thanked fans, writing:
After countless talks between the members and management about our future, we’ve decided that At Seventeen will close its chapter in January 2026. We’re deeply sorry for the sudden news, but we’re also endlessly grateful for everyone who has supported us since 2016.

Though the news has come as a shock to At Seventeen’s fans, whom they called “Masters” and “Princesses”, the group isn’t disbanding immediately. They will disband after their final live at Shibuya WWW X on January 13, 2026, following their final show in Osaka’s Yogibo META VALLY on January 11.
