BTS‘s Jimin is being criticized for his actions during a recent live broadcast.
Recently, Jimin did a live broadcast for fans.
The idol went to get some food and began unpacking it before eating.
Netizens noticed that Jimin had ordered McDonald’s, which is a brand on the BDS boycott list amid the genocide in Gaza.
Amid other actions of the BTS members regarding the genocide and being related to brands being boycotted, Jimin was hit with major backlash and disappointment for openly consuming the brand on a live broadcast in front of a huge audience. It also raised concerns about whether the group truly cared about such important global issues, which has been a recurring concern since the members returned from the military.
