The hairstylist, identified as Wang, took legal action against Siba Media due to unpaid wages. Before filing the lawsuit in February 2025, Wang attempted multiple times to secure payment for the hairstyling services she provided to Ju Jingyi between June 15 and June 18, 2024. According to Wang, Siba Media would not cooperate with her and was unprofessional in this matter.
However, Siba Media claimed that a formal contract had never been drawn for Wang’s services and that she had been personally hired by Ju Jingyi. As such, it Ju was the one who owed Wang the overdue payment. In court, Ju disputed this, telling the court that she didn’t know about Wang’s agreement with the agency and that she wasn’t personally involved in the matter.

The court dismissed Siba Media’s claim and sided with Wang, due to the fact that Siba Media had paid Wang for her services in the past. The agency has been ordered to pay Wang 9,000 yuan (around $1,262 USD) in wages and an additional 188.8 yuan (about $27 USD) for transportation costs.
