Famous Singer Named A Suspect In The Death Of Teenager Found In His Trunk
On September 9, it was reported that a body was found in an impounded vehicle in Los Angeles, California.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a report of a foul odor coming from an impounded car that had been at the property for a couple of days and discovered the body, which had been placed inside a bag inside the vehicle’s trunk.

Initial reports revealed that the car belonged to singer D4VD, who is popular in Korea and has connections to the K-Pop industry, though he was on tour at the time.
The singer visited Korea in late 2024 and again in May 2025, filming content each time. During his second visit, d4vd even performed on M!Countdown and held busking events in Seoul, meeting many idols in the process.
In the time since, the body has been identified as Celeste Rivas Hernandez, a 15-year-old, said to have had a romantic relationship with the 20-year-old singer after meeting him when she was reportedly 13.

The circumstances of Hernandez’s death are now reportedly being investigated as a possible homicide. News outlets, including NBC and TMZ, reported that an insider with direct access to the case claimed that D4VD had been officially named a suspect.
The source also estimated that Hernandez had been killed sometime in the spring, and that D4VD, if guilty, would have had help dismembering and disposing of the body.
