KBS Announces MCs For The “2025 KBS Drama Awards”
One of the biggest annual Korean drama award shows, the KBS Drama Awards, has confirmed its 3-person MC lineup.
On the 2nd, KBS announced, “Jang Sung Kyu, Nam Ji Hyun, and Moon Sang Min have been confirmed as MCs for the 2025 KBS Drama Awards, which will air on Wednesday, December 31.”
Hosted by KBS, known for showcasing the most diverse drama genres including mini-series (Wednesday-Thursday and Saturday-Sunday), weekend dramas, daily dramas, and one-act plays, the 2025 KBS Drama Awards is a special event to celebrate the various works and actors who have accompanied viewers throughout the year.
Anticipation is rising for the event, especially with the confirmed MC lineup of Jang Sung Kyu, Nam Ji Hyun, and Moon Sang Min.
Jang Sung Kyu, hosting for the third consecutive year, is expected to enhance the festive atmosphere with his distinctive professionalism and solid hosting skills.
Joining him is Nam Ji Hyun, who has built a strong filmography as an actress. Known for her clear diction and sharp charm, Nam Ji Hyun will host the ceremony and is set to return to viewers with KBS’s new Saturday-Sunday mini-series To My Beloved Thief premiering on January 3, 2026.
The trending Moon Sang Min will also continue his role as MC this year, following last year’s success. Currently active as the host of KBS’s Music Bank, his warm appearance and reliable hosting captivate viewers. The chemistry between him and Nam Ji Hyun, who will co-star in To My Beloved Thief, is highly anticipated during the awards.
With the official MC lineup announced, the 2025 KBS Drama Awards promises to offer viewers a meaningful year-end wrap-up by looking back at the K-dramas that shone throughout the year.
