Spotify has unveiled its annual “Wrapped” year-end campaign, reflecting on listeners’ music experiences worldwide. This year’s campaign introduces enhanced personalization features and interactive elements, allowing listeners to enjoy their yearly listening records in more unique ways.
The 2025 Wrapped reveals the most beloved artists, tracks, albums, and podcasts globally and in South Korea, based on Spotify streaming data. Beyond simple rankings, this year’s year-end charts highlight how fandom culture, emotional storytelling, and cross-genre collaborations have driven global listening trends.
K-pop continued to shine on the global stage this year. From solo artists dominating the charts to blockbuster OST successes, Korean artists stood out across various fields.
For the fourth consecutive year, BTS ranked as the most streamed K-pop artist globally, reaffirming their enduring international status. Following them were Stray Kids (2nd), JENNIE (3rd), Rosé (4th), and HUNTR/X (5th), showcasing a blend of worldwide stars and emerging talents in the top ranks.
The most streamed K-pop track globally was “APT.” by Rosé and Bruno Mars, a genre-crossing collaboration that won broad affection beyond the K-pop fandom. Following were HUNTR/X’s “Golden,” Jimin’s “Who,” Jin’s “Don’t Say You Love Me,” and JENNIE’s “like JENNIE” rounding out the top five.
Songs from the OST of KPop Demon Hunters also secured spots in the top 10, proving that Korean-style storytelling has become a vital part of global pop culture.
Bad Bunny took the title of the most streamed global artist in 2025, marking his fourth overall year at number one. He was followed by Taylor Swift (2nd), The Weeknd (3rd), Drake (4th), and Billie Eilish (5th), each leading global music consumption this year with distinct musical styles and storytelling.
In South Korea, the 2025 Wrapped highlighted a trend of solo artist dominance and emotional storytelling. Jimin was the most streamed artist for the third consecutive year, followed by Lim Young Woong (2nd), Jin (3rd), Jungkook (4th), and PLAVE (5th).
