26-year-old Lin Yi has been cast as the male lead while 17-year-old Ai Mi has been cast as the female lead. Given that Lin is an adult and Ai is a minor, the nine-year age difference isn’t being well-received by C-Drama fans, who are frustrated with the casting directors and Ai Mi’s parents.
