SHINee’s Key Finally Makes Direct Response To “Injection Auntie” Allegations
SHINee’s Key has finally released an official statement regarding the controversy surrounding comedian Park Na Rae’s alleged “injection auntie” controversy.

On December 17, SM Entertainment issued an official press release on the issue.
“Hello, this is SM Entertainment. We’d like to address the concerns about our artist, Key. First, we apologize for the difficulty in providing a prompt statement due to the need to communicate with various organizers regarding his overseas tour schedule and activities.
Key first encountered “A” as a doctor and visited the hospital where they worked in Gangnam, through a recommendation from an acquaintance.
He then continued to receive treatment at the hospital, and recently, when visiting the hospital was difficult, he received treatment at home several times. He knew “A” as a doctor, and since they didn’t mention anything, he didn’t anticipate that receiving treatment at home would be problematic.
Key recently learned for the first time that “A” was not a doctor due to the recent controversy surrounding “A”’s medical license, and is deeply confused and reflects deeply on his ignorance.
Therefore, recognizing the gravity of the matter, Key has decided to withdraw from his upcoming schedule and appearances on his current TV programs.
Once again, we apologize for any concern we may have caused to our fans and the public.”
