2PM’s Lee Junho Speaks Out On The Negative Consequences Of Being “Beast Idols”
On the 17th, actor Lee Junho, who is set to star in Netflix’s new series Cashero, appeared in a YouTube video hosted by Lee Yong Jin.
Lee Yong Jin mentioned, “One of the funniest 2PM clips is when you lifted someone during the ending pose,” referring to the 2009 SBS Gayo Daejeon.
Lee Junho reminisced about their past as “beast idols,” saying, “We did all sorts of things. We stacked members and flew around.” Lee Yong Jin then asked, “Are you okay now? Do you have any pain when working out?”
Lee Junho replied, “My knees hurt a lot,” adding, “When I debuted, I was 18 or 19 years old and did a lot of acrobatics. I got seriously injured doing acrobatics and had shoulder surgery. They made eight holes in my shoulder during the operation. I was so badly hurt I even had my spine broken four times before,” recalling the past.
He continued, “At that time, I just wore a back brace and performed on stage. I got injured so much that when I went to the hospital, they told me my physical age was 60. I heard that when I debuted.”
Surprised, Lee Yong Jin said, “That would cause an uproar today. You must have aged a year or two more… The weather is minus 8 degrees, and I almost twisted my ankle on the way here today.” Lee Junho admitted, “It’s cold outside now. My joints were creaking too,” sparking laughter.
