On December 17, 2025, IST Entertainment officially announced the disbandment of ATBO, bringing the group’s activities to a close after mutual discussions with the members. Fans had expressed concerns about the group’s future over the last few months, particularly with the sudden closure of their Weverse.

Amid discussions around the group’s disbandment, IST Entertainment’s current status has been mentioned.

IST Entertainment initially began as a sub-label of CUBE Entertainment in 2011 and debuted its first group, APink, that same year. In 2016, it was renamed Plan A Entertainment and no longer hand ties to CUBE, debuting boy group VICTON that year.

After a merger of Plan A, Cre.Ker Entertainment, and Fave Entertainment, IST Entertainment was formed, with groups including THE BOYZ, now falling under the agency. 2020 and 2022 saw the agency debut Weeekly and ATBO respectively.

However, the following year, all but one member of APink was announced to have chosen not to renew their contracts, with Eunji later leaving the company in 2025. The label’s rock band Bandage also terminated their contracts the same year.

Following VICTON and THE BOYZ’s contract terminations in 2024, and Weeekly and ATBO’s in 2025, IST has been left with just one active idol, Kep1er‘s Huening Bahiyyih.
