A Top Boy Group Idol And An Actress Are Reportedly Dating In Secret
According to the latest local news reports, two beloved celebrities are dating and living just one floor apart in the same building.

The stars in question? One is Nakajima Yuto, a Japanese singer, actor, and former member of Hey! Say! JUMP, a famous J-Pop boy group that has sold over 10 million physical albums in Japan alone. This past summer, Yuto announced his departure from the group to pursue his acting career, devastating fans.

He is reportedly dating Araki Yuko, a Japanese actress and fashion model. Her most notable acting credits include Our Meal for Tomorrow (2017), Suits (2018–2020), and Roppongi Class, a 2022 Japanese remake of the Itaewon Class K-Drama.

Yuto and Yuko are former co-stars, having played onscreen lovers in the movie Tomorrow, I Will Date with Yesterday’s You (2017). They also co-starred in Suits. Josei Seven reported that, according to a source, Yuto and Yuko’s relationship began to deepen three years ago, in 2022, partly thanks to their shared interest in photography.

The alleged couple reportedly spent Yuko’s birthday together on December 15th, favoring a private celebration over a big party. The source, who is reportedly close to the stars, told Josei Seven that Yuko celebrated her birthday earlier with friends, but she spent her actual birthday at home with Yuto.

The birthday itself was the most important part. She spent that day at home with someone she’s been seeing for a long time.

Yuko has also reportedly been spending time at Yuto’s place after work, squeezing in quality time with her rumored boyfriend despite her packed filming schedule. She is the lead actress in the J-Drama Good Things, Bad Things and has been busy with shoots for the remaining episodes.

Yuko and Yuto reportedly have an at-home rule, completely eschewing public dates in favor of private, indoor ones. Even so, their closeness hasn’t gone unnoticed. Yuko reportedly moved into Yuto’s apartment building earlier this year, before the summer, buying a unit on the floor above his.
