SEVENTEEN Members’, Other Idols’ Connections To “Injection Auntie” Resurface Amid Ongoing Scandal

Netizens came to their defense.

Recently, several popular entertainers have been implicated in the scandal of illegal medical procedures through a figure known as the “injection auntie.”

Dispatch Reveals Top Celebrity’s Addiction To Illegal Medical Practice

Park Nae Rae was the first to be accused of receiving injection procedures and being given prescription-only antidepressants and other restricted medications by the “Injection Auntie”. According to a report from Dispatch, the woman, despite not being a medical professional, had performed sales-related work for plastic surgery clinics and had also been active as a commission-based sales director.

SHINee‘s Key recently entered a hiatus due to his own connection to the “Injection Auntie.”

SHINee’s Key Finally Makes Direct Response To “Injection Auntie” Allegations

Now, members of SEVENTEEN have had their connections with “Injection Auntie” resurface.

On December 18, Garo Sero Research Institute shared a photo of SEVENTEEN’s D.K. with the woman allegedly known as the “Injection Auntie” in a backstage setting, along with presumed family members. Jeonghan reportedly corresponded with the woman via Telegram, inquiring about the type of gift her daughter would like.

Additionally, “Injection Auntie” appears to have claimed that she “sponsored” Pledis Entertainment artists, mentioning that she received hate for getting a birthday cake from SEVENTEEN. Signed albums she received from NU’EST were also included, with her post mentioning S.Coups, Dino, and SHINee’s Key and Minho.

#On my birthday, I ate a meal with a SEVENTEEN member—
a meal I paid for myself with my own money.
The only birthday gift I received from the kids was a single Paris Baguette cake.

But just because one photo and one video of that were shared,
I was flooded with malicious DMs from countless people all over the world.

I was completely destroyed and shattered by it all.
Even though everything was already over and done with, the agency never once issued a statement or even made a single phone call.

Wow—
what’s worse is that everyone at PLEDIS suddenly stopped responding altogether.

To think I supported and sponsored a company like this for years…
My sense of betrayal reached its peak.

(As a result, I even developed stress-induced panic disorder.)

NU’EST W released an album, so they gave me a CD.
Kyungsoo, Mingyu, Coups, Dino—you know noona likes SEVENTEEN, right?
Uh… Key, Minho—you know noona likes SHINee too, right?
Uh… um… um…
Ah… there are just too many…
Why does it always feel so awkward every time I get a CD?

Comments defended the mentioned idols in this instance, stating that any connection had ended six years ago and that it existed because she had undergone aesthetic treatments, rather than the illegal ones mentioned in the ongoing scandal. Still, many believe that other stars will be implicated in the scandal eventually.

  • Didn’t Pledis cut ties with her too?? Even back then, it was said she was only being used for aesthetic treatments.
  • That’s why don’t SEVENTEEN fans really hate this person? Back in the day, she got backlash for showing off her connections, didn’t she?
When that “injection ajumma’s” Instagram surfaced, SEVENTEEN fans already knew exactly who she was. That’s why, like the comment above said, they’d already cut her off long ago.
  • Once the gate opens, there’ll probably be a truckload of idols and celebrities getting dragged into this. It’s just that right now that “injection ajumma” is staying quiet and watching how things play out. But the moment she feels like she’s the only one going down, she’ll probably spill everything.
