Woman Spills On Her “Terrible” Date With K-Pop Idol And His Sketchy Behavior

She was not impressed.

K-pop idols, though famous, live their lives just like you and me, though more private. This includes relationships and dating, although reactions might suggest that this does not happen at all.

Netizens Weigh In On The Idol “Dating Ban” Controversy Among Fandoms

Recently, a woman’s first date experience with a K-Pop idol went viral online.

TikTok user @ryukkongee shared a storytime video with the title “date with a kpop idol.” After explaining how the topic came up, she said that while she was out dancing at a club, she noticed a very pretty many looking at her for a long time. He finally approached her as she was getting ready to leave, and asking for her number.

She declined to give out her number but exchanged Instagram accounts after a bit of reluctance on his side, noting that his was private but had a few photos of himself on it. He asked her on a date the next day, and after showing up 20 minutes late with no apology, stated that he was a K-Pop idol, though his group was not doing so well.

He also shared that he had debuted twice, and was taking dance lessons while trying to debut again.

She said that all he really talked about was his trainee experience and that he named dropped several currently active idols as having trained with him, saying he even had a fling with one.  After having dinner and more of the same sort of conversation, she thought that he continually used his K-Pop idol title and pretty face to hook up with girls.

After rejecting his offer to go to his place, he blocked her on Instagram but still messaged her on another platform.

Commenters tried guessing who the idol was, while also expressing negative feelings on his behavior.
