“Single’s Inferno” Star Cha Hyun Seung Struggles With Leukemia Bone Marrow Test
Dancer and actor Cha Hyun Seung, who is battling leukemia, has completed a difficult bone marrow test.
On the 20th, a video titled “I really hate bone marrow tests” was posted on Cha Hyun Seung’s YouTube channel.
He shared footage of himself going back for the bone marrow test. He expressed his hope, saying, “I hope this is the last one.”
After finishing the test, Cha Hyun Seung said, “It was the most painful ever. Now I have to keep pressure on for 4 to 6 hours. Just don’t go to the bathroom.” He also shared his pain, saying, “The anesthesia wore off and the spot where they took the marrow hurts, so I tried to sleep, but I woke up from the pain. It hurts so much. My leg even feels numb.”
He added, “We’re waiting for the bone marrow test results on the 22nd. I’m thinking this might be the end. I’ve just been in the hospital this year. I’m starting to feel like I want to get back to my normal life. That makes me anxious sometimes. I even applied for auditions for short films and independent films,” expressing his wish for a full recovery.
He also confided, “This time, I believe in it. I have confidence and a good feeling that I’m cured.”
Cha Hyun Seung is well-known as a dancer for singer Sunmi. He has appeared on shows like Single’s Inferno and Physical: 100, and is currently working as an actor. In September, he shared news of his leukemia battle, receiving support from many.
