Following the show, Giselle’s actions during Jennie’s performance were scrutinized, leading to accusations of disrespect.

Late on December 21, Giselle went live where she talked to fans about a number of topics, including aespa’s experience at the awards show.
Giselle shared that while the group had fun, they were left feeling a little disappointed because they were unable to see the stage, the monitors or the big screen.

Many fans have seen this as a response to the criticism of Giselle and the rest of aespa as “mean girls,” showing they were not able to see what was going on at all.
Giselle said MMA was fun but it was a little disappointing bcs aespa’s seats were in the corner so they couldn’t see the stage, the monitor in front or even the big screen.
