Active Male K-Pop Idols You Probably Forgot Already Have Children
While many idols already have children, some are not as easily remembered for various reasons. Here are some male idols who are already fathers but are not as readily recalled as others.
1. TVXQ’s Changmin
Given how active TVXQ remains, both as a duo and individually, it wouldn’t be surprising if some did not know that Changmin is a father.

The idol married his non-celebrity girlfriend in 2020, and she gave birth to a son in 2022. The idol has chosen to keep his family out of the spotlight, though reports often speak to his care as a father.

2. iKON’s Bobby
iKON‘s Bobby initially announced that he would be getting married to his finaceé in August 2021, also revealing that she would give birth in September.

The couple had a son, and sometime in 2021, officially married according to news outlets. Having once said that things did not have to change after he became a father, Bobby has spoken with fans about the joys of fatherhood.

3. 2PM’s Chansung
The 2PM member surprised many with the announcement that he would be getting married to his then-girlfriend in December 2021. In the same announcement, he shared that she was expecting.

The following July, his company announced that she had safely delivered a baby girl. Though he has been less active in Korea, Chansung has released multiple singles in Japan since then, along with a full studio album in October 2025.
4. UNIQ’s Sungjoo
Though UNIQ have not been active as a group for many years, Sungjoo continued his solo activities before and after completing his military enlistment.

Sungjoo’s announcement came a bit differently than others — while he was live streaming, group mate Wenhan asked if his son was sleeping. This led to Sungjoo announcing that he had a son and was already married, later sharing photos with his son on his Weibo account.

As more idols open up about their family lives, it seems the more it has become normalized and met with less harsh reactions.
