Recently, an idol who has been criticized for his appearance shared his heartbreaking thoughts.
In 2018, JYP Entertainment debuted its first Chinese boy group, Boy Story.

Zihao was one of the Chinese trainees that participated in the show’s spin-off, Planet C: Race Home, where he made it into the final line-up and will re-debut as a member of MODYSSEY sometime next year. During this show, however, Zihao showed how much the comments affected him, first saying he felt responsibility for how people perceived him.
He then stated that he knows fans get told that they like an “ugly person,” and that he feels sorry for them.
Zihao then heartbreakingly states that he feels like he has to work hard “because of his face,” but that despite that he still received criticism of his visuals.
Despite what netizens may think, Zihao has a supportive base of fans and will be making his debut very soon.
