World Star Singer’s “Pathetic” Tactics To Take Down “Golden” Sparks Backlash
Recently, an online community post went viral as the early predictions for the Billboard Hot 100 chart were revealed.
According to the prediction chart, “Golden” by Huntr/x was at number one, with Taylor Swift at number two.

However, not long after, netizens noticed that the pre-order LP vinyls for Taylor Swift’s album, which were initially scheduled to ship on January 7, were pushed forward to secure the number one spot.

Because Billboard reflects sales based on delivery, many K-Netizens weren’t so happy at her marketing tactics.

- “It’s so obvious that Taylor’s the only one who hates them. She really is trying so hard to bring down a superstar on the other side of the planet.”
- “Didn’t she do this the last time ‘Golden’ was predicted to be number one?”
- “It’s amazing to see ‘Golden’ shooting right back up after the Christmas songs went down.”
- “‘Golden’ is crazy.”
- “Didn’t the song come out in the fall? How many months is she doing this…so embarrassing…’ Golden’ is really the public’s fave.”
- “Why is she acting so pathetic?”
- “‘Golden’ is truly legendary…going right back up on the charts after Christmas.”
- “It’s so pathetic seeing a world star like Taylor act like this.”
