In early January, a post from an anonymous account claimed that the idol was in a relationship and that they had created a “lovestagram” account on Instagram, with a username allegedly containing their initials and anniversary. The post also included items shared between the two as additional “proof.”

Fans came to his defense, remarking that if he were in a relationship, there is nothing wrong with it.

After a lot of thought, I decided to honestly share what’s in my heart.
Today, we did a short group live broadcast for the first time in a while, and it reminded me how precious it is to be able to communicate with Only B.
Thinking about the times I hurt you, and the moments when my actions caused pain, truly breaks my heart, and I’m sincerely sorry for making you worry.
I’m also sorry that the Only B who support me and believe in me had to hear negative things because of me.
Even in this situation, I spent a lot of time thinking and worrying about what I can do right now.
I will focus even more on what I need to do—preparing for performances—and I’ll show you a better version of myself going forward.
I don’t know how this will be received, but this is truly how I feel, and I will prove what I need to do through my actions.
I hope my sincere feelings aren’t misunderstood, and I promise to show you an even better side of myself in the future.
Please take good care of me this year as well, Only B.
