In the days following, there was not a response over the rumors from Jimin’s company, however, the idol has since shared a message to fans.
On the group’s fan chatting platform, Jimin seemed to indirectly reference the dating rumors and negative reactions, apologizing to fans for the negativity that was seen. He also promised to continue working hard this year as a member of the group.

After a lot of thought, I decided to honestly share what’s in my heart.
Today, we did a short group live broadcast for the first time in a while, and it reminded me how precious it is to be able to communicate with Only B.
Thinking about the times I hurt you, and the moments when my actions caused pain, truly breaks my heart, and I’m sincerely sorry for making you worry.
I’m also sorry that the Only B who support me and believe in me had to hear negative things because of me.
Even in this situation, I spent a lot of time thinking and worrying about what I can do right now.
I will focus even more on what I need to do—preparing for performances—and I’ll show you a better version of myself going forward.
I don’t know how this will be received, but this is truly how I feel, and I will prove what I need to do through my actions.
I hope my sincere feelings aren’t misunderstood, and I promise to show you an even better side of myself in the future.
Please take good care of me this year as well, Only B.— Jimin
Lim Jimin debuted as a member of Just B in 2021 and the group most recently returned with “True Heart.”
