The idol is set to perform at the prestigious ceremony, and fans are also expecting her to take home multiple awards. However, before the event even begins, Jennie’s airport arrival has already sparked major discussion online.

According to fans present, as soon as Jennie arrived at the airport, she was surrounded by reporters and photographers waiting inside the airport. Videos and photos quickly spread, showing the star looking visibly exhausted and irritated by the situation.

Many fans noted that Jennie appeared uncomfortable as cameras were positioned directly in front of her face, with flashes going off continuously.

According to fans, Jennie had applied for VIP access and a business vehicle to avoid congestion and maintain privacy. Despite this, reporters were allegedly squatting near the customs exit, blocking pathways and disrupting other passengers.

The media in Taiwan is the worst in the world:

They waited right at the gate to take photos, disturbing other passengers significantly.

Jennie requested to go through the VIP passage and use a buggy, but they turned on the flash and took photos while disrespecting Jennie’s wishes and privacy.

These reporters/paparazzi didn’t say anything, but just turned on the flash and snapped photos. They didn’t say Jennie’s name at all but claimed that they’re “fans from Taiwan”

Respect should be mutual. I hope everyone takes note.

At one point, Jennie was seen pulling her coat over her head, clearly trying to shield herself from the cameras. This moment quickly went viral on X, with fans defending her actions and calling out the lack of respect shown toward her.

Fans also noted how drained Jennie looked, pointing out that exhaustion likely played a major role in her reaction. Others stressed that idols are not obligated to interact with the media at all times, especially when their personal space is being violated.
