The recent status of rapper Choi Ha Min (stage name Osshun Gum), who appeared on Mnet’s High School Rapper, has been revealed.
Choi Ha Min was indicted in 2022 on charges of sexually molesting a 9-year-old boy. At the time, Choi Ha Min apologized, saying, “I am sincerely sorry once again for causing pain to the victim and the victim’s family due to an absurd incident while I was unwell. I will undergo proper treatment to ensure this does not happen again.”
Sharing his status after a long time, Choi Ha Min’s working diligently at a furniture factory. He revealed that he was suffering from bipolar disorder at the time of the incident, stating, “Though it’s no excuse, my bipolar disorder was at its worst then, and I take full responsibility for everything. I am deeply reflecting on it.”
He continued, “The story is very complicated, but that’s just an excuse and a way of not accepting my fault, so I am still restraining myself,” and added, “I am very sorry to the victim.”
He also said, “I am working so I can live well as a member of society, and my girlfriend helps me a lot,” explaining, “The turning point where I got my mind straight was after meeting my girlfriend. I thought I shouldn’t live like this if I want to be a man worthy of her, since she is so beautiful compared to me.”
He expressed affection, saying, “My girlfriend was a huge support during my difficult times. She is the only one I have. When everyone else left, she was the person who stayed by my side.”
