Singer BoA has expressed her feelings about leaving SM Entertainment.
On the 12th, BoA posted on her Instagram account, “I leave without regrets, as much as I have given and received generously.”
She added, “I am grateful for the time we spent together, and I will continue to support the shining SM Entertainment. Thank you.”
On the same day, SM Entertainment announced the end of BoA’s exclusive contract.
BoA debuted in 2000 with her first studio album, ID; Peace B, making a striking entrance into the music industry. She released numerous hit songs and established herself as the top female solo K-pop artist. She celebrated her 25th anniversary last year.
