Popular Actor Personally Addresses Controversy On 12 Hour Fan Meeting
On January 22, actor Lee Soo Hyuk appeared on a YouTube channel and personally addressed the controversy regarding his fan meeting in China last year.

He also updated on his recent activities, stating, “Last year, I met a lot of my international fans, and this year, I’m filming a drama.”

When asked about his fan meeting in China, he explained the situation in detail.
Hong Jin Kyung: I saw an article about how you had a hard time at your fan meeting in China last year. You were drenched in sweat. What happened?
Lee Soo Hyuk: It was hot because so many people came to see me, and I thought I was the only one struggling because of the stage lighting, but I heard the fans had a tough time as well.
In particular, regarding the reports stating that the event lasted 12 hours, he denied the claims.

The article said 12 hours, but how could you do that for 12 hours? It’s not true.

He also shared that he gave his all for the fan meeting because he knew they were all there to support him.
I was greedy because it was a gathering of people who love me. I felt like I had to do more because I knew it wasn’t a place I could just come and do it lightly.

Previously, Lee Soo Hyuk held a solo fan meeting in Hangzhou, China, last August, but was embroiled in controversy over being overworked and forced to sign autographs for 12 hours.
At the time, his agency responded that the event lasted for six hours and 30 minutes. It was also noted that the event ran a bit longer because Lee Soo Hyuk wanted to give his best to his fans.
