Min Hee Jin Accuses A NewJeans Member’s Family For Tampering Allegations
On January 28, former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin’s legal representative, attorney Kim Seon Woong of Jiam Law Firm, held a press conference in Seoul.

They also revealed the reason why Min Hee Jin was unable to attend the conference.
Former CEO Min Hee Jin has issues with the families of the NewJeans members, so it’s difficult to speak on that. She was quite shocked by the recent reports on the family’s relationships. Therefore, she is unable to attend. We ask for your understanding.

During the conference, Min Hee Jin’s side refuted the allegations of “NewJeans tampering.”
The NewJeans tampering is not due to Min Hee Jin, but due to the family of one member.

Attorney Kim revealed that Min Hee Jin received a lawsuit seeking ₩10.0 billion KRW (about $6.99 million USD) in damages, accusing her of leading the termination of NewJeans’ exclusive contract and of tampering with NewJeans, in violation of ADOR’s claims.
He continued, “Min Hee Jin, seeing that the HYBE and ADOR situation had been resolved, and all NewJeans members returning, decided each member should do their best for the future of NewJeans.”
However, he explained the reason for the press conference.
ADOR is attempting to disband NewJeans by terminating Danielle’s contract alone and is continuing to exploit the members’ families in the lawsuit against Min and HYBE. We are concerned about NewJeans’ dissolution and have no choice but to state our position.

Regarding the tampering allegations, former CEO Min recently learned that the “stock market manipulation conspiracy” was not her but a collusion between the family of a NewJeans member and a specific businessperson.
They added, “We have obtained evidence that HYBE’s management was already aware that these stock manipulation conspirators were planning and executing a plan to exploit Min and the members.”
Regarding the dispute between Min and HYBE in 2024, they emphasized that it was a matter of differing perspectives and had nothing to do with tampering with NewJeans.
