Yuji Nishida’s Apology Had No Business Going This Hard

Things got a little out of hand during a recent volleyball all-star event in Kobe, Japan. While serving, 26-year-old volleyball player Yuji Nishida sent a ball soaring off the court and into the crowd. According to one announcer, the ball hit a female “helper” off to the side. …by sliding face-down across the court!
After doing what might be the first sliding-bow in sports history, Nishida got onto his knees and continued to bow apologetically to the woman, who wasn’t injured.
Nishida and the other players couldn’t stop laughing, and now people all over the world are laughing with them.
