Popular Girl Group Suffers Catastrophic Drop In Sales… Less Than A Year After Debut

They are facing an 80 percent drop in sales.

KiiiKiii, the five-member girl group under Starship Entertainment and often labeled as IVE’s sister group, is facing serious questions after a sharp decline in sales for their latest release.

The group debuted in March 2025 and made a strong first impression with their debut album UNCUT GEM. The album recorded around 206,700 copies sold in its first week, with daily sales remaining relatively steady throughout the tracking period.

At the time, the numbers positioned KiiiKiii as one of the more promising new girl groups from a major agency.

However, their most recent mini album, Delulu Pack, tells a very different story. First-week sales barely topped 40,000, with most days recording only a few hundred copies sold. Compared to their debut, this represents a dramatic 80 percent drop in less than a year.

The result has surprised many fans, especially since Delulu Pack received significant attention before release. The group’s teaser images and overall concept went viral online, sparking heated discussions.

While the buzz helped keep KiiiKiii in the spotlight, it was not all positive. Some netizens accused the group of borrowing too heavily from Red Velvet’s past concepts, leading to plagiarism claims that followed them into the comeback period.

Netizens have shared massive shock at how the album failed to even match the first-day sales of UNCUT GEM. Others have described the situation as alarming given the level of promotion and discussion surrounding the release.

With less than a year since debut, the steep decline puts pressure on Starship Entertainment and raises concerns about the group’s long-term momentum.
