BTS Face “Mortifying” Scenes In Seoul, Footage Triggers Outrage
Videos from BTS’s latest arrival at Incheon Airport have once again sparked controversy over fan behavior during airport appearances.

Once the seven members crossed the arrivals gate, they were instantly swarmed by reporters and fans, many of whom went far beyond merely infringing on their personal space.

Phones and cameras flashed constantly, and each member had multiple bodyguards shielding them from the pressing crowd.

While getting mobbed after long, exhausting flights is something K-Pop stars have become used to, many feel it has reached a point where it must stop.
Chaotic airport crowds are a massive safety concern for everyone involved, but they’re also extremely uncomfortable for idols who have just arrived after tiring international travel.
The flight between Lisbon and Seoul is super long, there were so many people waiting for BTS in the airport but Jungkook is always there to bow down, to show respect and gratitude for everyone, fans, media, everyone. Jungkook level of respect is unique!pic.twitter.com/4sYYL5XwCE

Imagine getting mobbed at the airport after a long, exhausting overseas schedule. Being surrounded like that doesn’t sit right with me at all. Let them breathe. Keep your distance. Respect their space. Stop normalizing this behavior. When will people ever learn? 🙄 pic.twitter.com/mnnU8bqPBc

Absolutely mortified & disappointed with how the “fans” acted at the airport when BTS came home. Cant all those who shoved mobile phone to members faces, forced their way, endangering the members be arrested and jailed for that? Why cant they behave like CIVILIZED DECENT PEOPLE?

Despite the ongoing debate, airport welcomes remain deeply intertwined with the way the K-Pop industry operates. Many fans argue that the fan experience would hardly be diminished if these high-risk gatherings were reduced or eliminated.

Still, the cycle continues, and footage of BTS navigating the overwhelming crowds has quickly gone viral.
