Comedian Park Na Rae, who is due to be questioned by the police as a defendant, has suddenly postponed her attendance, drawing attention to the reasons behind the delay.
Park Na Rae, who is under suspicion of abusing her former managers and illegal medical procedures, was set to appear at the Gangnam Police Station at 2:30pm on the 12th to be investigated as a defendant.
However, one day before the scheduled questioning, she suddenly applied to postpone her attendance, leading to speculation that she might be reluctant to face the media.
According to Park Na Rae’s representatives, the request to postpone the investigation was due to health reasons and was “not at all intended to evade the investigation.”
Park Na Rae’s side told OSEN, “She was scheduled to appear at 2:30pm on the 12th at the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul for questioning, but she requested a postponement due to health reasons.”
Currently, Park Na Rae is embroiled in allegations of abuse toward her former managers and illegal medical procedures. The former managers filed a complaint in December last year claiming damages from workplace harassment, unauthorized prescriptions, unpaid expenses, and other abuses. They accused Park of defamation and violations of the Information and Communications Network Act. In response, Park’s side filed a countersuit against them for extortion and embezzlement.
