Actress Song Ji Hyo openly shared her honest thoughts on marriage.
On the 19th, a video titled Ji Suk Jin’s celebration of Ji Hyo becoming a chef was posted on YouTube. In the video, Song Ji Hyo invited Ji Suk Jin and warmly spent time treating him to rice cake soup she made herself.
That day, Ji Suk Jin looked at Song Ji Hyo, who was focused on cooking, and said, “You should get married soon and do this for your husband,” bringing up a typical holiday nagging. Song Ji Hyo quietly continued cooking without much reaction.
Later, Ji Suk Jin asked more seriously about her thoughts on marriage. When he asked, “Do you really have no plans to get married?” Song Ji Hyo answered without hesitation, “Yeah, not right now.” When asked if she ever planned to marry, she candidly replied, “No. I want to live with our princess (her dog), and my mom and dad. That’s how I feel now.”
However, she didn’t completely close off the possibility. When Ji Suk Jin asked, “What if a wonderful man appears and you fall in love overnight?” Song Ji Hyo left room for that by saying, “Of course, I could fall in love and become a hopeless romantic.” Ji Suk Jin joked, “Then, this fall you’ll come saying ‘Oppa, I’m sorry, I was seeing someone back then’ while handing me a wedding invitation,” to which Song Ji Hyo replied, “If it were that serious, I would have already told you or the Running Man members,” causing everyone present to burst into laughter.
Song Ji Hyo recently stirred up a buzz on SBS’s Running Man by revealing, “I had a boyfriend I dated for eight years about 4-5 years ago.” She also said that her partner was “someone the members don’t know.”
