Though fans have often seen the four members of BLACKPINK together in the past year thanks to their record breaking DEADLINE tour, the sight of them on live broadcast together was still an unexpected one.
And so was the huge hint of a solo album coming soon dropped by Lisa.
Jennie, Lisa, Rosé, and Jisoo all hopped on Instagram Live to celebrate the release of their latest album DEADLINE. The girls were separated in twos, as they tried to make a quarter live happen but couldn’t due to technical difficulties.

The live was full of fun and unexpected moments shared with fans, but what stood out was Lisa’s shocking announcement of a new album.
She read out a fan’s comment that said “Looking forward to Lisa’s new album” and laughed playfully.

Her reaction can only mean one thing, that new album is coming and it’s coming soon.
As it’s only been one year since her first ever solo album Alter Ego, many fans did not expect her to start teasing a new music project this soon — especially with the star having been on tour for the majority of 2025.
