2NE1‘s Park Bom previously claimed that she had been framed in order to cover up Sandara Park‘s drug abuse. She had previously been accused of drug abuse after taking medication for ADD. In a lengthy statement on March 3, 2026, posted to her personal Instagram, she claimed that the medication was not considered illegal at the time she was taking it. In a sudden accusation, Park Bom alleged that her medical use of Adderall had been framed as abuse after Sandara had been caught in her own drug issues.

Almost immediately after the statement was released, Korean media outlet OSEN reported that a source close to Park Bom addressed the matter, claiming that Park Bom was mentally unstable.

 “We only just became aware of the content. As you know, this happened due to Park Bom’s unstable health condition. We ask for your understanding.”

Earlier, Park Bom shared a handwritten letter, wanting to deliver “the truth” to the public.

“It is not a drug. I am an ADD patient, something called Attention Deficit Disorder. Sandara Park was caught for drug abuse, and to cover that up, they turned the medication into something labeled as a drug scandal involving me. At the time, there wasn’t even a specific medication system or law in this country regarding Adderall, but strangely, after Park Bom, a law was created.”
