Rising Actor Announces His Marriage, Media Exposes His “Private” Wife’s Identity

An actor recently made two major announcements on the same day; his marriage and his decision to leave his current agency. Now, his wife’s identity has been revealed to the public.

Takizawa Ryo is a 28-year-old Japanese actor who has appeared both onscreen and onstage. His onstage career began in 2008 when he played Young Simba in the Shiki Theatre Company production of The Lion King. In 2024, Ryo rose to new heights after he joined the cast of the popular series Kamen Rider Gavv as Nierubu Stomack.

On February 9, Ryo announced that he would be marrying a woman he had been dating for some time. He did not mention his wife by name, describing her as a “private” person who is a great source of support and strength to him.

According to a new report by Josei Seven, a weekly women’s magazine, Ryo’s wife is a former reality dating show contestant (The Bachelor Japan, Season 2) named Kido Risa, who now works as a scenario writer. She has also worked as a paralegal and in corporate public relations.

Risa is 38 years old, making her ten years older than her husband. The couple reportedly met through mutual friends at a bar in Tokyo in late 2024. Risa and Ryo hit it off and reportedly chatted all night, into the early hours of the morning. The couple reportedly dated for about a year before getting married and holding their wedding ceremony in early 2026.
