Recently, an account on X (formerly Twitter) posted a video of Nayeon simply bowing to the audience at the end of a TWICE concert. However, the clip appeared to be slowed down intentionally to draw attention to Nayeon’s chest, which was peeking through the loose neckline of her t-shirt. The caption was also disrespectful, insinuating that Nayeon did it deliberately.

The clip has gone viral, with 2.8 million views at the time of writing. While the post has invited many vile sexualized comments directed at Nayeon, many also defended her fiercely.

What do you mean by ‘intentional,’ you f*cker? Gouge out those filthy eyes of yours right now, and pull out every joint of the fingers that wrote such a disgusting post.

So f*cking what? You’re the weird one for perceiving it that way. Tsk. It’s normal for her to wear that. Why should Nayeon be the one who has to be careful? It’s you guys who need to stop getting turned on.

In recent times, more and more female idols have been targeted with such blatantly sexualized posts on social media, reflecting a worrying trend.
