“I-LAND” Contestant’s “Shady” Post Following Heeseung’s Departure From ENHYPEN Hit With Massive Criticism
Heeseung’s departure from ENHYPEN has sparked reactions, even from other celebrities.
Included in this is a reaction not so well-received by netizens from someone who once could have been a member of ENHYPEN.
In 2020, HYBE and CJ ENM collaborated for a new survival program titled I-Land. The show followed the formation of ENHYPEN, starting with 23 contestants competing for the chance to debut.
Since then, some have debuted through other methods, including contestant Daniel, who reached the final episode, ranking ninth and just missing the group. Daniel, now known as Kyu, officially debuted as a soloist in 2025 with “Tempo.”
It seems some fans may have commented on Heeseung’s departure in his social media posts, leading Kyu to post a simple story with “Idc!” (I don’t care) on March 10.
What prompted the story is not entirely clear, but many interpreted it as a response to the situation involving Heeseung and harshly criticized Kyu.
