HYBE Reveals Who Played A Huge Role In Selecting Gwanghwamun For BTS’s Comeback Stage
On March 20, a pre-show media briefing was held in Seoul. APAC representative of HYBE Music Group, Yoo Dong Joo, revealed the specific reasons for selecting Gwanghwamun for BTS’s comeback.

They also emphasized that Chairman Bang Si Hyuk played a decisive role.
Chairman Bang Si Hyuk, who is overseeing BTS’s comeback, stated that for a comeback by BTS—who started in Korea and became global superstars—the starting point must be Korea, the most symbolic space.

This comeback is also connected to HYBE’s strategic vision. CEO Yoo added, “We focused on expanding the fan experience. Making this an experience with the fans, the public, both locals and foreigners, in Korea’s most iconic venue, holds a culturally rare value.”
Meanwhile, the BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG concert will be held at Gwanghwamun Square at 8 PM KST on March 21 and broadcast worldwide on Netflix simultaneously.
