It has been ten days since ENHYPEN member Heeseung announced his withdrawal, yet controversy continues seemingly due to the agency’s inadequate follow-up measures and strong backlash from fans.
As of the 20th, major portal sites still list Heeseung as a member of ENHYPEN. These portal sites can be and are often updated by the official agency of idols, but they have yet to be updated in this case.
Despite Belift Lab officially confirming Heeseung’s departure and the group’s transition to a six-member lineup on the 10th, no updates have been made to this information. In fact, a new ENHYPEN event has been announced with Heeseung’s participation.

Fans’ collective actions continue as well. Some fans are conducting a truck protest near HYBE’s headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, demanding the withdrawal of Heeseung’s departure. The protest truck bears slogans such as “Withdraw the official statement,” “Heeseung should be with ENHYPEN,” and “ENHYPEN is always seven members.” Fans support Heeseung’s solo activities but refuse to accept his decision to leave the group.
Previously, Belift Lab stated, “After in-depth discussions about each member’s future and the group’s direction, we confirmed that Heeseung has a clear musical vision, which we decided to respect,” announcing his departure from ENHYPEN.
Heeseung also expressed his feelings in a handwritten letter, saying, “After long consideration, I made the difficult decision to take the direction proposed by the company to approach ENGENE in a better way.“
